Defund is an over-the-counter (OTC) arbitrage desk trading HYPE, the Hyperliquid token. We buy HYPE directly from large holders — primarily counterparties in Asia — at a discount to the market price, and sell it on the open market at the market rate. The gap between what we pay and what we sell for is our profit.
Sometimes, when we expect the price to rise, we hold the HYPE we’ve bought instead of selling it straight away. Whenever we hold, we place a stop-loss at the rate we bought in, so the position is protected on the downside rather than left exposed to the market.

01Is my principal guaranteed?

Yes. Your principal is guaranteed, and that guarantee is active right now.
The guarantee means the money you deposit is protected — you will not lose your deposited principal while the guarantee is in effect.

- It covers your principal, not your profit. Only the money you actually deposit is guaranteed. Profit you earn is never guaranteed — and it does not become guaranteed principal even if you reinvest it. Reinvested profit earns like principal, but it is never added to the guaranteed amount. (See “How does profit reinvestment work?” below.)

02What is the minimum investment?
The minimum is $10,000.
Deposits are made in USDT. There is no maximum.
03How do I send money to the fund?
You can fund your account in fiat or in crypto.

- Fiat. Send a bank transfer to our account. We convert it to crypto at a 0.1% conversion fee and add it to the fund.

Your capital starts participating once it reaches a fund wallet and is ready to deploy.
04How much can I make?
Up to 8% per 30-day cycle on the principal you have with us at the time of each trade.
Returns are calculated as simple interest on 30-day cycles — each cycle’s return is figured on your principal, not on principal-plus-past-profit — so your profit does not compound on its own unless you choose to reinvest it (see below). If you take principal out and wire it back inside the same cycle, it rejoins that cycle rather than starting a fresh one.
“Up to 8%” is a target ceiling, not a fixed rate — your actual return depends on trading results. Your downside is what the principal guarantee protects; the up-to-8% is your upside.
05How does profit reinvestment work? How does profit get added to principal?
Your profit is tracked separately from your principal. At any point you can either withdraw your profit or reinvest it — roll it into your principal so it starts earning too.
When you reinvest, that profit is added to your earning principal, and the next cycle’s return (up to 8%) is calculated on the larger balance. That is how your returns compound at Defund: by reinvesting profit rather than withdrawing it. Left alone, profit simply sits in your account as profit; reinvested, it becomes part of the balance the rate is applied to.
One important limit: reinvested profit earns exactly like principal, but it is not covered by the principal guarantee. The guarantee only ever applies to the money you originally deposited. Even after you reinvest profit and it becomes part of your working principal, that portion is never added to the guaranteed amount.

06How and when am I paid out?
When you request a withdrawal, payouts are usually sent within 12 hours — and almost always within 48 hours.
You choose how you are paid: fiat to your bank, or crypto — either USDT or USDC.
